Over the past 16 months, as Interim Arts and Recreation Director, he has managed the Recreation Department’s response to the pandemic, providing emergency shelter for fire evacuees, and the re-envisioning of the City’s Arts and Recreation programs.

“This past year completely upended the departments that offer in-person programming such as Recreation,” Mayor John McCauley said.

“But under Sean’s leadership, we continued to serve our community with innovative Recreation and Arts programming to keep us connected and active. I want to thank Sean for his unflappable resilience through it all.”
