As it turned, there were worse places to be last year than Korsae.

The island was one of the world’s few places that experience no coronavirus cases. Masks, social distancing and business closures were something you only saw if you were watching TV.

Zoa kept himself busy.

His background in geology became a key resource for the island’s environmental management authority and a local college offered him a beachfront apartment in exchange for a parttime teaching job.

To learn more about Zoa’s adventure join the 7 to 8:30 p.m. meeting.
