MILL VALLEY, CA — An appreciation for the complexities of French culinary arts will likely help patrons navigating the newly opened Le Marais Bakery's menu for the first time.

But it’s not a requirement at this gourmet bakery, which officially opened its doors Wednesday at its Mill Valley location at 250 E. Blithedale as the state reopened from the pandemic.

The owners of the bakery bistro are quite confident their simpler offerings will leave customers in pastry heaven, even if that means they’ll be in dire need a few napkins to clean up afterward.
