Park Service To Close Baker-Barry Tunnel For Maintenance
Drivers are encouraged to plan for extra travel time during the two-day closure.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Marin County's Baker-Barry Tunnel will be closed for part of two mornings and afternoons next week for cleaning, National Park Service officials said Tuesday.
The tunnel, which connects Sausalito and Fort Baker to the Marin Headlands and Rodeo Beach, will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 7-8.
Vehicle and bicycle traffic will be prohibited. Park service officials will have debris removed from the road and gutters to maintain bike lane safety.

Drivers are encouraged to plan for extra travel time using the alternate route on Alexander Avenue and Conzelman Road.
