Power Restored To Hundreds In Marin County

The outage was first reported at 3:35 a.m.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Power has been restored to hundreds of Pacific Gas & Electric customers in and near Mill Valley, but some still remain without electricity Monday morning.

PG&E initially reported on its outage map that 728 customers in and near Mill Valley were without power. The small outage started just before 8 p.m. Sunday.

PG&E estimated the power would be restored by about 10 a.m. An "equipment issue" is the likely cause of the outage, according to PG&E.

As of 8 a.m., power has been restored to customers in Mill Valley. A total of 254 customers in nearby Strawberry, however, remained without power.

Crews were assessing the outage, according to PG&E. The cause of the outage was unknown.
