Tamalpais Pitching Standout Tucker Bougie Honored

Bougie has yet to allow an earned run in 17 2/3 innings in which he's struck out 28 and walked eight and given just eight hits.

MILL VALLEY, CA — Tamalpais pitching standout Tucker Bougie was named the Cal-Hi Sports’ Northern California Baseball Player of the Week.

The UC Berkeley-bound right-hander on Tuesday struck out nine and gave up one run (unearned) in five innings of two-hit ball to lead the Red Tailed Hawks to an 11-1 Marin County Athletic League victory over San Marin.

Bougie has been a big factor in the Tamalpais’ 6-0 start (all league games).

Bougie, who also plays third base and shortstop, has been impactful with his bat, too.

He’s batting .600 (9 for 15) with three extra-base hits including two home runs. He’s slugging 1.066 and has a stratospheric 1.817 OPS.
