Three-Car Pile Up on 101 Injures Mill Valley Teen
Driver hurt when another car rear ends her as vehicle stalled on highway

An 18-year-old Mill Valley woman was injured Saturday night during a three-car crash on southbound Highway 101 near the Freitas on-ramp.
Shortly before midnight, California Highway Patrol received a call about a 1994 BMW that had spun out on the wet roadway and was blocking a lane. The car was then struck by a Nissan, which attempted to slow down, but couldn't avoid hitting the vehicle.

Both drivers then got out of their cars and met in the center divider of the freeway. But moments later, a 2012 Hyundai rear ended the Nissan after failing to stop in time.
An 18-year-old Mill Valley woman, the BMW driver, fractured her leg in the accident and was taken to Kaiser for treatment. No other injuries were reported. All lanes of were cleared by 12:40am.
