2 Of 3 Suspects Accused Of Drug Charges: Milpitas Police

A Milpitas Police lieutenant encountered the trio in a parking lot at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Milpitas.

MILPITAS, CA — Two South Bay suspects were arrested on suspicion of drug charges at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Milpitas, while another from San Jose was released.

A Milpitas Police lieutenant approached the trio a week ago in the parking lot of the hotel located at 1100 Cadillac Court in Milpitas, where Kevin Moon Young Lee, 33, of San Jose, initially provided a false identity. A records check of his true identity revealed he had a felony bench warrant from the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety for identity theft.

Officers searched Lee and located crystal methamphetamine for sales and drug paraphernalia. Police then searched two vehicles associated to the suspects and located additional narcotics with the intention to sell, including crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy pills and heroin. During a search of the vehicles, officers located drug paraphernalia, burglary tools, mail, identification cards and credit cards that appeared to be stolen.

Another suspect identified as Eu Chong Chung, 29, of Milpitas, also had $1000 in cash hidden.

Lee was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for possession of methamphetamine for sales,
possession of drug paraphernalia and for the felony warrant. Chung was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for possession of narcotics for sales and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

The third connected with the incident, Niccolo Paolo Bartido, 34, of San Jose, was cited on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.
