49ers To Help Fire Victims With Raffle Match

Through the North Valley Community Foundation, the San Francisco team will match dollar-for-dollar contributions made during Monday's game.

SANTA CLARA, CA -- During Monday Night Football against the New York Giants, the San Francisco 49ers have announced the team’s initial plans to support the communities tragically impacted by the fires with a dollar-for-dollar match of contributions raised by fans during the game at Levi's Stadium.

The team has named the North Valley Community Foundation as the recipient of the proceeds from the 50/50 Raffle during Monday’s game.

The previously announced recipient of Monday’s 50/50 Raffle, SEAL Family Foundation (sealfamilyfoundation.org), will receive a donation of $50,000 from the 49ers for accommodating the change.

"In collaboration with the North Valley foundation, the 49ers will continue to monitor the situation in Butte County and surrounding areas during this devastating time and are prepared to take further action as more specific needs on the ground emerge," the company announced.

The 49ers are also undertaking an internal employee collection drive for essential items to support residents of the area as the team did last year for the fires in the North Bay.
