Bicyclist Killed Over the Weekend Identified
The victim was riding near the border of Milpitas and San Jose, just beyond where Park Victoria turns into Morrill.

A bicyclist killed in a car collision Saturday night in San Jose was identified today as 28-year-old Alejandro Gonzalez, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a report of a collision between a car and bicyclist in the area of Landess and Morrill avenues, police Sgt. Enrique Garcia said. Arriving officers found a bicyclist, later identified as Gonzalez.
He was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead a short time later, Garcia said. It appears Gonzalez was on his bicycle without lights while traveling north on Morill Avenue against southbound traffic and was hit by a white 2004 Infinity, according to Garcia.
