Calling all Photographers for the California Fall Challenge
The San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory encourages photographers to capture the beauty of birds.

Milpitas, Ca. (Oct. 3, 2019) — San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory is calling all photographers to help capture the wonder and beauty of birds through their Click Off Bird Photo Contest.
The Click Off Bird Photo Contest is just one of the many contests SFBBO offers as part of the annual California Fall Challenge.
This year marks the 10th California Fall Challenge, a campaign organized by the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory which aims to fundraise $30,000 for science and outreach programs.

The Click Off Bird Photo Contest runs from Sept.14 to Oct. 13 and highlights the wonder and beauty of birds in California.
Photos are to be submitted to the contest’s categories: “Bird Behavior”, “Birds and their Habitats”, “World Birds”, and “Bird Humor”. A winner will be selected from each of these categories and will receive a $25 gift certificate to Columbia Sportswear.

The grand prize People’s Choice Awardee will have the opportunity to showcase one of their photos on SFBBO’s social media pages every Saturday throughout November and December and also get an exclusive photoshoot tour at the Coyote Creek Field Station with Landbird Program Director Josh Scullen.
The Click Off Bird Photo Contest is open to anyone who’d like to submit a photo. There is no limit to the number of submissions but there is a registration fee of $25 per 5 photos.
The registration fee will, of course, go into the fundraising proceeds.
