Happy Birthday To 'Curry Up Now' Means Free Burrito For You
Buy one burrito, and get one free this weekend at the eclectic, Indian eatery on Zanker Road in San Jose.

SAN JOSE, CA — To mark its 11th anniversary, the Indian chain that began with a single food truck in Burlingame, Curry Up Now, is celebrating with a weekend BOGO deal in San Jose.
Patrons can buy one burrito and get one free on Saturday and Sunday, when ordered via the restaurant's loyalty program on its app or website.
Curry Up Now, once featured on TV's "Ugly Delicious," was launched in 2009 by husband and wife Akash and Rana Kapoor, and now boasts restaurants throughout California, Georgia and Utah.

In San Jose, Curry Up Now is at 3250 Zanker Road.
On a mission to serve Indian food with a unique spin, the Bay Area-based business is known for such zinger dishes as Deconstructed Samosas, Sexy Fries and Naughty Naan, plus tacos, bowls, traditional dishes and street-food snacks.

Its signature Tikka Masala Burrito takes authentic Indian tikka masala, chana garbanzo masala, fenugreek-scented rice, onions and a protein choice and rolls all in a large flour tortilla for a hand-held feast.
Other burritos on the menu include: the "Punjabi By Nature Burrito," with Saag paneer and tikka masala with rice and chana garbanzo masala; "Hella Vegan Burrito" with samosa, chutneys, rice and chana garbanzo masala; and a lamb version featuring lamb, potatoes, rice and chana garbanzo masala.
This weekend's BOGO deal is available only via Curry Up Now’s loyalty program on its app or website. But customers can sign up and score the BOGO Birthday Burrito on the same day, management.
In San Jose, Curry Up Now will be open Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Other Bay Area locales are in San Francisco, Oakland, San Mateo and Palo Alto. The Alameda site currently is closed.
