Merryhill Preschool Students Pack More than 100 Gift Boxes

Pre-K students assembled boxes with donated gifts to benefit children around the world, including those affected by recent natural disasters

Pre-K students at Merryhill Preschool on Corning Avenue in Milpitas recently exceeded their goal of packing and preparing 100 gift boxes of toys, art supplies, books and more to send to children around the world, including those who have been affected by recent natural disasters. Each package also contains handwritten letters from the students. The supplies and gifts were collected as part of a school-wide gift drive to benefit Operation Christmas Child, an international humanitarian organization that sends care packages to children in need around the globe. Prior to preparing the boxes, students learned about friendship, different languages and compassion.
