Merryhill Students Share Virtual Thank You for Health Care Heroes
Students created a video, cards and letters to thank staff at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara for their hard work caring for patients
Students from Merryhill Preschool and Merryhill Elementary School in San Jose recently created cards and letters, as well as filmed thank you messages at their homes to show their gratitude for health care heroes at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara. A Merryhill parent who works at the medical center collected the cards and letters from a drop-off box and delivered them to fellow staff, along with the video compilation of students’ thank you messages. Merryhill Preschool and Elementary School teach the importance of giving back to the community and helping others.
Merryhill Preschool students are engaged in meaningful distance learning experiences at home through the school’s Links to Learning curriculum. This program allows Merryhill Preschool to connect with students and to help them maintain a healthy routine at home. Merryhill Elementary School has fully transitioned to a robust distance learning program to provide students with a different, yet enriching education.
