Micro-Paving to Lead to Delays This Weekend

The micro-surface paving at the intersection of San Tomas Expressway and El Camino Real is scheduled for April 16 and April 17.

The micro-surface paving at the intersection of San Tomas Expressway and El Camino Real in Santa Clara was postponed last weekend due to rain and has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17. Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays. The roadway resurfacing is part of San Tomas/El Camino Intersection Improvements Project.

Road resurfacing will begin at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 16 and continue through Sunday, April 17 during daylight hours. At various times, through lanes will be reduced, and left and/or right-turn lanes will be closed. The closures will require drivers to go to the next intersection to make turns. Travelers are advised to avoid this intersection and choose another route during the weekend.
