Milpitas To Get New Private Elementary School This Fall

MILPITAS, CA — A new private elementary school is coming to Milpitas.

Stratford School announced this week that it will open its second campus in Milpitas this fall at 25 Corning Avenue. The location, which is close to Stratford’s other Milpitas school at Great Mall Parkway, features a remodeled two-story building with 18 new classrooms, multipurpose room, library and outdoor space that includes turf fields, playgrounds and a basketball court.

Saratoga-based Stratford School has operated private schools across California for more than 20 years. The school aims to prepare youth for private high school or advanced placement public high school by emphasizing collaboration, critical thinking and creativity.

"We are thrilled to be expanding our campuses to meet the increasing demand of interested families in Milpitas," said Sherry Adams, Stratford School’s founder. "The need for elementary schools in Milpitas is growing and this new campus is tailored just for Kindergarten-5th grade students. Stratford will host an in-person Open House by appointment only on May 1 at its Great Mall Parkway campus.
