MILPITAS, CA — Police identified a 25-year-old man as the suspect in a series of indecent exposures in Milpitas earlier this month. Mario Joseph Vaquera, a Manteca resident, was arrested last week during an undercover operation that police conducted in the area of the previous incidents.

In the first incident, on Oct. 23, police said an 11-year-old child was walking on Los Coches Street when a man driving a Mazda 3 sedan passed by, parked nearby, got out of his car and exposed his genitals as the child walked by. The child ran away and was otherwise unharmed.

Two other incidents involving adult victims have also been reported, police said.
