Students at Merryhill Preschool in San Jose Donate Nearly 50 Toys

Students held a toy drive in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots program

Students at Merryhill Preschool in San Jose recently donated 47 toys and gifts to Toys for Tots, a gift drive run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Over the past few weeks, students worked together to collect a variety of toys and gifts to be distributed to children of all ages during the holidays. At the end of the toy drive, U.S. Marines stopped by Merryhill Preschool to pick up the donations from students. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to the community and spreading kindness.

Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.
