MILPITAS, CA — Police on Thursday released surveillance photos hoping the public can help identify three males, in matching sweatshirts, wanted in connection with a theft at a Great Mall jewelry store in Milpitas.
On Aug. 25 at about 7:30 p.m., the suspects allegedly smashed display cases and stole an unspecified amount of jewelry from Valliani Jewelers at 302 Great Mall Drive, the Milpitas Department said.
Detectives said that shortly before that incident, the threesome is suspected of a theft from the mall's Home Depot store. Home Depot gave police security-camera footage of the men inside that business, which the department also released.
