This Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, many businesses and restaurants are saying "thank you." Here's our list of places offering freebies:

BAY AREA, CA - Veterans Day is a time to honor veterans past and present who served in the U.S. armed forces.
This Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, many businesses and restaurants in California are saying "thank you" in their own way by offering free meals or discounts to veterans.
Among those taking part is Red Robin, who will hand out a free tavern double burger and bottomless steak fries to all veterans and active duty military guests, at participating restaurants nationwide.

Participating Olive Garden restaurants will offer a free entree from a special menu to active-duty military and military veterans, served with unlimited soup or salad and garlic breadsticks.
Meanwhile, Chipotle is offering a "buy one get one" deal for those who stop by with a U.S. military ID from 3 p.m. to close.
