"Wineries Announced for 'All About Wine' Fundraiser!"
Support nursing education and the Gretta Foundation Saturday October 24th in Lafayette!
(San Francisco, CA) September 16, 2015 - The Gretta Foundation announced its lineup of participating wineries for the Second Annual All About Wine fundraiser presented by Whole Foods Market. This year’s event will feature some of the most exquisite and exclusive wineries for any wine event in the Bay Area. All About Wine will take place on Saturday, October 24 from 6pm-9pm at the Veterans Memorial Building in Lafayette, California.
All About Wine will feature tastings of multiple varietals from 20 of the premiere wineries in Northern California, as well as culinary indulgences prepared by six-time East Bay Chef of the Year, Rodney Worth of “The Peasant & the Pear in Danville, and “The Pear: A Southern Bistro” in Napa, along with five other restaurants. Many of the varietals to be tasted have either limited production - are not available in big box retailers - or the vintners have no tasting facilities.
Included on the list are Coupe De Foudre, Kistler Vineyards, Prager Winery & Port Works, Frank Family Winery, Senses, Alpha Omega, and Vinoce. Attendees will be able to order cases and half-cases for the upcoming holidays from these wineries with proceeds benefitting The Gretta Foundation.
Tania DeYoung, Gretta Foundation Director said, “We’ve travelled extensively from Sebastopol to Yountville and are so excited to offer such exquisite and coveted wines. We are especially grateful to Kistler and Coupe de Foudre for offering their limited cases solely because they want to support the work of The Gretta Foundation. We hope that attendees take advantage of the opportunity to purchase such exceptional wines for the holiday season.”
