Woman Accused Of Milpitas Mall Theft Arrested On Several Charges
Police investigating stolen merchandise at the Great Mall of the Bay Area ended up arresting a woman on several theft and drug charges.

MILPITAS, CA — Police investigating a car parked outside a Milpitas mall that appeared to have stolen items inside wound up arresting its driver, a 29-year-old woman, on suspicion of theft and drug charges.
Around 9:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, security officers at the Great Mall of the Bay Area spotted an unoccupied car in the parking lot containing a large amount of merchandise with security sensors still attached, as well as a pair of pliers on the dashboard, according to police.
Milpitas police responded and followed Grace Marie Naffa, 29, of San Jose, as she returned to the car and started to drive away.

Police stopped Naffa and found prescription pills, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia as well as stolen merchandise and stolen credit cards, according to police. She was also on probation in Santa Clara County for a narcotics violation and had a misdemeanor warrant for narcotics-related offenses.
Naffa was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of several charges, including possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, drug possession with intent to sell and a probation violation.
