Chicago Bear Kyle Long Takes on His Brother Sunday

This Sunday, one NFL game will pit brother against brother. Kyle Long of the Chicago Bears will be less than a yard from brother Chris Long when they face off in St. Louis.

"They’re going to smell each other’s breath," Rams coach Jeff Fisher told Liddy's Sports.

Kyle Long, son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Howie Long, spent 2010 and 2011 playing for the Saddleback College Gauchos. He was a first-round draft pick this year, the first lineman the Bears picked in the first round since 1960.

Chris Long, Kyle's older brother, is playing his fifth year with the St. Louis Rams.

Although they aren't lining up directly, the brothers are likely to make contact now and then based on the Rams' defense.

To remember the occasion, Howie Long is taking his first day off from covering football for Fox Sports in 20 years. He'll be watching the game with his other son, Howie Jr., along with about 40 friends and family members from a press box.

There's definitely been some trash talk between the brothers, Kyle told ESPNChicago:

“It’s going to be awesome. I sent him a text the other day saying something like, ‘How pumped are you for next week?’, and then I was like, yada, yada, yada and we were talking smack, and he said something like, ‘When I beat you, my dance will be directed at you.’”
