City Of Mission Viejo: City Seeking Adults With A Passion For Water Safety To Serve As Lifeguards

The City of Mission Viejo is seeking lifeguards of all ages to help staff its recreation centers that are open year-round. The job can be rewarding for retired adults and young adults, with a passion for water safety and working outdoors, seeking a part-time position.

Older adults, retirees, college students and athletes looking for part-time work are encouraged to apply.

In Mission Viejo, Lifeguard positions are assigned to the Montanoso or Sierra Recreation and Fitness Centers. Lifeguards work during pool hours and special events.

Pay for the Lifeguard position begins at $15 per hour and is flexible based on experience. There is also a bonus for working peak seasons of up to $250.
