City Of Mission Viejo: Recreation And Fitness Centers Welcome Guests Back July 1

The Recreation and Fitness Centers are rolling out the reopening red carpet on July 1. That is the date you can enjoy the many amenities the Montanoso and Sierra Recreation and Fitness Centers offer. Memberships start at $30 per month with access to three activity-filled facilities providing something for everyone.

Families can make a splash during family swim at Sierra on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 11 am to 2 pm. While visiting, you can also savor the shade of the family cabanas, picnic area and playground. If you have young ones, hop over to the Montanoso Splash pad to cool off.

Both Sierra and Montanoso have lap swim, tennis, basketball and indoor gym options to keep up your strength and cardio. If you’re looking for that extra summer body push, join one of our bootcamp, aqua aerobics or TRX classes.

The Sierra Recreation and Fitness Center and Felipe Tennis and Recreation Center have 10 pickleball courts where all levels of play can enjoy the fastest-growing sport in the United States.  After all that exercise, you’re going to need a little rest and relaxation, and we have you covered. There are lounge chairs for you to relax and read a book; tables and umbrellas to have lunch outside; the quick dip lane to cool off from the heat; and jacuzzies to let your body recover from all that fun.

The best part? You don’t need to worry about restrictions anymore - it’s time for the best summer ever!
