Collision Closes Lanes Near Saddleback College

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Officers responded to the scene of a dramatic collision at Marguerite and College Center on Monday. All of the occupants were reported "safely out of the vehicles" following an incident that left an SUV overturned, Orange County Sheriff's Department said.

Orange County Fire Authority was on the scene and it was unknown as of this report as to the extent or if there were any injuries that required hospital transport.

Patch was told deputies were investigating the cause of the crash as of 8:30 a.m. but expected lanes to reopen a half hour later. Drivers were told to expect delays and to seek out alternate routes for about an hour.
