Community Mourns Loss of Local Girl Killed in Head-On Crash

Dorrian Wyatt, a twenty-one-year-old Ladera Ranch resident and San Clemente High School grad, was killed Friday in an Ortega Highway crash.

A Ladera Ranch family today is mourning the loss of their 21-year-old daughter, a recent San Clemente High School graduate, who was killed Friday in a head-on collision on Ortega Highway.

Orange County Coroner’s investigators today identified Dorrian Wyatt as the victim in an early morning crash with a big rig around 2:30 a.m. Friday near Ortega Highway (Route 74) and Shadetree Lane,

Her mother Ceci Chodosh shared the loss with loved ones on Facebook:

“My beautiful daughter Dorrian Wyatt tragically lost her life last night when she collided head on with a semi truck at 230 am. She was my love and she just turned 21 on 3/14. She was amazing and the most beautiful woman. She did not suffer and died on impact.,” she wrote. “I am really loving all of your beautiful posts and the company and all the prayers for our family. Thank you from her siblings and parents.”

Supporters have set up a GoFundMe page to help with the funeral expenses.
