Disney Avengers Campus Survival Guide: Day One Lines, Super Fun
Line waits, food delays, fans still want to try their hands at becoming the next Avenger Recruit at Disney California Adventure.

ANAHEIM, CA — Friday, on the grand opening day of Disney California Adventure Avengers Campus, the waiting was the hardest part, according to those longing to get inside.
Park visitor Scott Clarke was among the thousands inside Disney California Adventure Friday morning, hopeful for a chance to ride Webslingers, dine at Pym Test Kitchen, and visit the Sanctum with Dr. Strange.
By midday, there was little hope of gaining entry.

"(The picture) is just a small fraction of the giant line to get into @Disney #AvengersCampus right now," he wrote on Twitter. "The line literally goes from the backlot all the way to the world of color on the opposite side of the park. This is insane and a massive disappointment."
Inside the Magic reports that shortly before 2:45 p.m., Avengers Campus Mobile food ordering was closed for the remainder of opening day for the Pym Test Kitchen and Pym Tasting Lab. Others could wait in line for their orders, and many did, as was seen on Twitter.

Still, visitors lucky enough to grab food, get a table, and taste some of the much-lauded goodies were delighted with the fare.
As for the Shawarma Stand, mobile orders were also unavailable as of Friday afternoon.
These are the growing pains of a park with limitations on visitors and workers during the coronavirus pandemic. As of June 15, restrictions from the state will be lifted, and the resort can make necessary adjustments to serve its guests.
As for planning your visit?
Starting June 15, 2021, Disneyland will once again welcome guests from outside of California. Masks are still mandatory within the park as of this report.
Be sure to check out the latest travel information and important information about park attendance requirements on Disneyland.com/update.
When you go, chances are, there will be a line for entry. Stay patient. The park is open until 9 p.m. for the time being.
There is a standby entry queue to enter the land, the park officials say.
"When Avengers Campus reaches capacity, a standby queue to enter Avengers Campus will be available to the right of its main entrance by the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB) for those looking to take in the sights and sounds of Avengers Campus," Gabriel Gibaldi, Public Relations Director says.
When you're waiting, make a virtual queue appointment from your Disneyland App for riding Webslingers! and get into the virtual line before you even get to the park.
"There is no standby line for this attraction," Gibaldi says.
Similar to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, virtual queue enrollment times will be twice daily, at 7 a.m. (which you can do from the comfort of your home or hotel room) and 12 p.m.

Once a guest's boarding group is called, they should head to the left of the land's main entrance along the parade corridor. You may enjoy Avengers Campus after your boarding group has been called and you have entered the land.
You'll be able to use the app to join the virtual queue for WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, place a mobile order for food and beverages, view park maps and more.
Unless they are sold out of mobile order times. Then, you'll have to wait the old-fashioned way.
Be sure to have location services and Bluetooth enabled and turned on notifications to receive your virtual queue call back details and other important information.
While at Avengers Campus, look up! Look around! You'll be sure to see superheroes and their pals atop the Avengers Headquarters. Shows go on at varying points of the day.
The Dora Milaje may file in and teach you how to become a Wakanda Warrior.
Take your time visiting Dr. Strange's Sanctum and learning about the mystic arts.
Plus, there is always the shopping. Pick up some never-before-seen technology at WEB Suppliers, along with your very own Spider Bot.
(Hint: there are a few items that may enhance your next ride on Webslingers, so if getting high score is meaningful to you, be sure to visit WEB Suppliers before you ride.)
Also, Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission: Breakout! is now part of Avengers Campus, Patch was told. We're working to verify that with Disneyland.
