Disney California Adventure Turns 20, New Food Event Coming Soon
Much has changed at Disney California Adventure in 20 years. As fans long to return Disneyland's President made this special announcement.

ANAHEIM, CA — It's been 20 years since the gates of Disney California Adventure opened. The resort addition, which was built over the previous parking lot for the Disneyland Resort, brought a bit of 1923 Hollywood to the park and the renowned Grizzly Peak and California Screaming roller coaster.
Though much has changed in 20 years, a new front entrance, ride revisions, the change over from Tower of Terror to Guardian's Of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! Fans are looking forward to more changes once the famed resort is allowed to reopen.
For now, Disney California Adventure cast members, as the theme park's employees are called, received word from park President Ken Potrock that a "limited-time ticketed experience" will open in March.

Close to 1,000 workers will return to the park for the experience and the reopening of the Buena Vista Street dining, a Disneyland Resort spokesperson told Patch.
Guests can anticipate "world-famous food and beverage offerings from around the resort, the latest merchandise and unique, carefully crafted entertainment experiences," Potrock wrote.

The new experience is currently in design and will be separate from what is currently open through Downtown Disney.
More will be released in the coming days, though officials stress that attractions will not be available during this food-centered experience.
Disneyland Resort officials have not shared where or when tickets will be sold, how much they will cost, or what days the event will run. Limited capacity and all coronavirus health and safety measures will be followed, they say.
