Mission Viejo: Drop & Go Food Drive to be held at Mount of Olives

Mount of Olives Church in Mission Viejo will hold a Drop & Go Food Drive on Saturday, May 2, 2020, from 9:00am-12:00pm. All food donated will be delivered directly to South County Outreach which serves families in need in Orange County.

Those that wish to donate food don’t even need to leave their car!

Simply place your donation in your trunk, drive-up to the church parking lot, pop the trunk and Mount of Olives Church’s volunteer team collects your donation. Social Distancing Guidelines will be followed at all times. Please remain in your car.

South County Outreach shares that food need is up 90% while inventory is down 40% right now. Spread the word to your friends and neighbors who may wish to help those in need in our community.

Food donations needed:

• Peanut Butter & Jelly
• Mac & Cheese
• Canned Fruit
• Cereal & Oatmeal
• Canned Chicken & Tuna
• Hearty soups ex. Progresso
• Boxed pasta
• 2 lbs Bagged Rice
• 2 lbs Bagged Beans
• Chili with or w/o Beans
• Canned Pasta
• Beef Stew
• Lunch Meat/Deli Meats
• Protein & Granola Bars
• Fresh Fruits & Vegetable

The Drop & Go Food Drive will be held on the campus of Mount of Olives Church at 24772 Chrisanta Drive in Mission Viejo. Enter Chrisanta Drive from La Paz Road.
