Fullerton Lost Its Pride Flag, Mission Viejo Mom Sends A New One
The rainbow pride flag of Fullerton was "lost," unable to be flown. So, an Orange County mom went to Amazon and bought them a replacement.
MISSION VIEJO, CA — Fullerton's city manager will make sure the city flies their rainbow pride flag again starting Thursday after receiving several via Amazon delivery this week.
Last week, Fullerton's Interim City Manager Steve Danley declared that they would be unable to fly the rainbow gay pride flag this month during LBGTQ Pride Month, as someone at Fullerton City Hall had lost it.
City ordinance declares the pride flag would fly in front of Fullerton City Hall starting in January 2019, on Harvey Milk Day.

Danley claimed the city misplaced the flag in the kerfuffle of his new appointment.
Learning this, an outspoken Orange County mother went to Amazon.com and ordered them a new one.

Walker tells Patch that she ordered the flag off the internet and had it shipped directly to Danley.
"If they merely need the flag, then I don’t mind helping with the expense," she said. The flag is a 5-foot by 8-foot rainbow pride flag and arrived at the city manager's office Monday.
Orange County residents sent a total of four flags to Danley's office, they confirmed Wednesday.
"So far," they added.
They will refly the pride flag starting Thursday, a spokesperson for that office said.
The @FullertonCA City Manager Steve Danley is claiming the city can’t fly a Pride flag because they lost their flag. I just ordered one that will arrive tomorrow, even splurged for the larger size.
