MISSION VIEJO, CA — Owners lined up on Tuesday to license and vaccinate their fur babies at Mission Viejo Animal Services Center first ever drive-thru pet vaccination clinic.

Typically the low-cost clinic is held as a "walk-in" event, four times a year. According to the facility, due to safety reasons as the spread of the coronavirus continues, techs and vets did carside service for all vaccine services.

While pets and owners waited together in their respective cars, vets and techs performed pet licensing, vaccinations and microchipping services.

All did their best to maintain proper social distancing during the event, and most were seen wearing masks.
