Happy Father’s Day To Jordan Hartley
"The principles you've always set in our home and taught our children makes you that 'one good father.'"

In celebration of Father's Day on Sunday June 17, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their father and let us deliver it. This is Crystal Hartley's letter to her husband:
Thanks to you, we have two beautiful children who know what it means to put God first. I've been blessed to see God's love in you. In your words and teachings we've heard His wisdom and trough your life they've learned about His grace.
Our children are truly blessed to have you as a father, and that is one of the many things I am grateful for. Yes, you are very unique and different, and that's what I love the most. You are not the best handyman nor sports person, but, I read once that "a good father is one of the most unsung, unpraised, unnoticed and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society."

The principles you've always set in our home and taught our children makes you that "one good father." Thank you for loving us and caring for us. Thank you for your hard work and honesty. Baby, I love you for being the father you are to Jordyn and Bubby.
All those times you've repeated yourself, reminding them to say "please" and "thank you," all your hard work and time invested, will one day pay off. Then, you'll see it was all worth it! For now, just continue trusting in the Lord like you always do and do it to give Him the glory alone. Never forget He is the perfect example of who a father is.
