Homeless Woman Found Dead In Mission Viejo Parking Lot
A homeless woman was found dead on Easter Sunday. Orange County Sheriff's Deputies found her vehicle in a Mission Viejo parking lot.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A homeless woman was found deceased inside her vehicle on Easter Sunday in a Mission Viejo parking area, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
Quality of Life deputies arrived at the scene to check on welfare on the afternoon of April 1, when they discovered that the 62-year-old woman had passed away.
Though the cause is was not currently known, though officers did state that her death did not appear to be suspicious in nature.

"Deputy Chaney’s duties are to check on the welfare of the less fortunate in our community," a spokesperson from the OCSD Mission Viejo police services said.
According to officers, the unnamed homeless woman had declined numerous offers of shelter and other assistance.

"She lived quietly in our city," they said. "May she rest in peace."
