Mama’s three OC eateries scooping up 25 cent ice cream Sept. 13

In honor of the back-to-school season, Orange County-based Mama's restaurants will scoop up a single serving of Thrifty ice cream for only 25 cents on Friday, September 13.

The restaurant promotion – “Mama Luvs Her Kids” – is designed to celebrate the end of summer and tempt taste buds during the lingering heat. The special is good at Mama’s on 39 at 21022 Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach; Mama’s Comfort Food & Cocktails in Los Alamitos at 11122 Los Alamitos Blvd and the newest Mama’s Comfort Food & Cocktails in Newport Beach at 2601 West Coast Hwy.

Owned by longtime restaurateur Pete Truxaw and partner Robert Corrigan, Mama's serves farm-fresh American comfort foods with a culinary twist - tempting diners seeking delectable brunch, lunch and dinner fare. The eateries are also popular for scooping up Thrifty ice cream flavors.
