Metrolink Hits, Kills Person On Orange County Line

ORANGE, CA -- A Metrolink train struck and killed a person today in Orange, authorities said.

The northbound train 633 on the Orange County Line hit the person near the Palmyra Avenue crossing about 9:30 a.m., according to Scott Johnson of Metrolink.

Information on the gender and age of the fatally injured person was not immediately known.

The train stopped near the location, and buses were brought in to ferry passengers to all stops into Fulllerton, Johnson said.
