Mission Viejo Boy Scouts Send Holiday Care Packages To Soldiers Abroad

Boy Scout Troop #603 recently celebrated its 51st year in existence by collecting care packages for members of the military who are spending the holidays overseas.

The scouts, who are in grades 6-8, and their parents filled the 13 boxes with remnants of home and the holidays – special yummy treats, games and toiletries.

“During Christmas time, the focus is understandably on the children and sometimes service members overseas can get lost in the shuffle,” said Senior Patrol Leader Aidan McFann.
