MISSION VIEJO, CA – Community members on Saturday are encouraged to donate non-perishable grocery items to help feed people in need in Mission Viejo.
Residents are asked to provide non-perishable items like peanut butter, canned meats and vegetables, boxed pasta, rice, beans, soup and oatmeal.
Participants are asked to place their food donations in the trunk of their car. When donors drive through, they can pop their trunk, and a volunteer will remove items.
