Mission Viejo Gets "R. Hero" Dalmatian Sculpture
The sculpture is one of 20 unique "R. Hero" works across the country.

From the city of Mission Viejo:
The City of Mission Viejo will host a special public dedication and unveiling of the new “R. HERO” sculpture at La Paws Dog Park on Saturday, November 22. The dedication is from 10 a.m. to noon at 25100 Felipe Road.
The 6-foot high, 150-pound purple “R. HERO” Dalmatian aluminum sculpture now sits at the entry to La Paws Park. The sculpture is a donation from Bunni and Rick Benaron as part of The Hero In You Foundation, which honors first responders and will serve as a reminder of the sacrifices firefighters, police officers, paramedics and military service personnel make, while inspiring future generations to become heroes.
