Mission Viejo High School Football Update

MISSION VIEJO, CA — The Mission Viejo High School Football teams are rearing to go for another week preparing to play on Friday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. With the Diablos as the shining star matching up against Santa Margarita at Trabuco Hills. Other MV teams of Capistrano Valley Cougars and the Trabuco Hills Mustangs are also set for some non-conference games.

How are coach Rich Fisher and the Diablos doing so far? The boys are 4 and 0 to start the year, and have the Xcellent 25 rank of 23, ranked nationally at #37, and 6th in California according to MaxPreps.

Capistrano Valley Cougars under coach Ernst Bucher have enjoyed a 4 and 0 start as well, showing their prowess with a national ranking of #292 and a state rank of #32. This week, playing neighboring Trabuco Hills Mustangs, coached by John Abdelnour, have started the season with 2 and 2, on their national rank of #3485, and a state of California ranking of #251.
