Mission Viejo Hosts Symphony in the Cities
Participants will be able to enjoy food, beer and wine, and watch Batman, Spiderman, and Superman take on villains just like at the movies.

From The City of Mission Viejo: If you want to see caped crusaders like Batman and supervillains duel it out like never before, don’t miss this year’s Symphony in the Cities and Prelude in the Park event on Saturday, July 22.
Boasting a “superhero” theme, this awesome event is from 4 to 9 p.m. at Oso Viejo Community Park on the Village Green and neighboring community center, 24932 Veterans Way.
Batman – with his Batmobile in tow – will be on hand defending his land along with Spider-Man and Superman against villains in a dramatic scene straight from a movie screen. This epic battle will culminate with a spectacular surprise that will blow your mind! This is your chance to channel your inner superhero or villain by sporting your favorite costume.

Leading up to the grand Pacific Symphony concert at 7 p.m. is a Musical Playground for kids that includes a “conducting” clinic with the talented Maestro Carl St.Clair. The Musical Playground is a great opportunity for families to meet talented musicians and experience different instruments.
Shuttle service is available from the Civic Center at 200 Civic Center or get a healthy dose of exercise by riding your bike to the event.
