While the holiday season brings joy to many, it can be tough for folks living alone or coping with trauma. The same rings true for veterans, active duty military and people recently returning from deployment overseas.

Through a partnership with South County Veterans Services Center VA, the City is offering peer-to-peer mental health counseling services on Saturday, December 21 from 9 am to 3 pm at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way
With one-hour confidential appointments available, military personnel and their family members can access support for post-traumatic stress; challenges transitioning to civilian life; family matters; and community resources.
