Mission Viejo Restaurateur Wali Azamy Memorial Thursday

MISSION VIEJO, CA — The owner of Sabatino Mission Viejo, Wali Azamy, will be laid to rest Thursday, Jan. 4 at El Toro Memorial Park. Azamy, the father in this family restaurant, will be greatly missed, according to an outpouring of multiple social media posts.

The burial will take place at 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with services following from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Lake Mission Viejo, 22555 Olympiad Road, in Mission Viejo.

Sabatino Restaurant will be closed Thursday, according to staff. It is unclear as of this report when the restaurant will reopen.
