Mission Viejo Reveals Fallen Soldier Memorial, Wednesday

MISSION VIEJO, CA —Mission Viejo is unveiling and dedicating the new fallen soldier memorial at a ceremony Wednesday at the new Lakeside Park.

"The statue is in honor of all the fallen soldiers, the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country," a spokesperson from the city said.

Join local dignitaries at the park at 10 a.m., Wednesday.

A section of the northbound Marguerite Parkway will be closed Wednesday to make room for the special event parking, the city said.

Lane closures will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to noon between Via Guadix to Vista Del Lago.
