Mission Viejo Traffic Alerts for Wednesday, Dec. 11

Mission Viejo will be the site of several utility projects today. Utility and other work will close lanes on Muirlands/La Paz, Puerta Real, Marguerite and Oso and a power outage will impact another traffic signal.

Here are the details, from the City of Mission Viejo:

• The traffic signal at La Paz and Spadra will be flashing red until noon due to a Southern California Edison planned power outage.
• Various lanes will be closed at Muirlands and La Paz from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for well monitoring work.
• Heading north on Puerta Real, the number two lane will be closed north of Crown Valley from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility work.
• Heading north on Marguerite, the number two lane will be closed north of Felipe from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility work.
• Heading east on Oso, the number three lane will be closed east of I-5 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for developer site work.
