Mission Viejo's 25th Annual Drug Walk Saturday

Since 1988, Mission Viejo residents have taken to the streets to support drug enforcement. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the annual drug walk, which will include wheelchair tennis gold medalist David Wagner.

  • When: Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., 
  • Where: Mission Viejo High School, 25025 Chrisanta Drive
A rally starts off the morning. The walk is scheduled to begin at 8:35 a.m. Walkers will travel two miles to the Village on the Greens east of the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veteran's Way.

A community fair follows with Pat Bates' 6th Annual South County Disaster Preparedness Expo, which ends at 2 p.m.
