Nordstrom Plans Hiring Spree To Fill Positions In Mission Viejo

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Nordstrom Inc. is looking to fill thousands of positions across California, the company announced Wednesday.

The retailer is hiring year-round and seasonal positions at Nordstrom and Nordstrom rack stores and supply chain facilities. The positions include medical benefits, an employer-matched retirement plan and an employee discount.

In Mission Viejo, there is a Nordstrom location at The Shops at Mission Viejo.

"Nordstrom offers competitive pay, a merchandise discount of 20% and benefits such as medical coverage, employer-matched retirement plan and much more," according to a company statement. "`Additionally, supply chain facility roles are eligible for a sign-on bonus."

Nordstrom's hiring days will begin Friday and continue through June 18. Open positions include sales, fulfillment and logistics, restaurant and support roles. Of the open positions, 48% are sales roles at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores, according to the company.
