OC High School Baseball 2017: Greatest Hits On Mission Viejo Sports Zone

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Mission Viejo Sports Zone tells the story of baseball in south Orange County this week. This, June 6 report shows highlights for the week of June 6, 2017, in a special playoff edition of the 'Zone.

"It was playoff time for the Capistrano Valley and El Toro baseball teams," they said.

Catch highlights of Capo squaring off against S. Bonaventure, and then the Cougars match up against Palm Desert.

For the Chargers, they are first pitted against Foothill, and then travel to Dodger Stadium to take on Corona for the Division 1 CIF Championship!

El Toro pitcher Jake Jackson, with a complete three-hit shutout over Corona, the El Toro Chargers celebrated, after ending the game on a double play. This was the first victory for El Toro Chargers since 2008, announcer Gordon Spencer said.
