Wednesday Traffic Alert: Slowdowns on Avery, Los Alisos

Here are five possible traffic jams to avoid Tuesday in Mission Viejo:

• On Marguerite Parkway, the middle lane at Alicia heading north will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility work.
• The far right lane of Santa Margarita Parkway will be closed in both directions west of Los Alisos from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility work.
• On Avery Parkway, the middle lane heading west at Plata Place will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility work.
• The middle lane of Los Alisos Boulevard heading east at California Terrace will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for utility work.
