$723,000 Olive Avenue Resurfacing Project Complete

The $723,000 resurfacing project on Olive Avenue was completed last week, according to the Monrovia city manager's weekly report.

The street was repaired between Fifth Avenue and Mountain Avenue by E.C. Construction.

"The general scope of work completed includes selected removal of broken and deteriorated asphalt pavement, grinding of the surface of the asphalt pavement and overlaying the street with new asphalt, removal and replacement of broken sidewalks, ADA access ramps, curbs and gutters, and street striping along Olive Avenue," the report states.

Work began on the street in May.
